Community Forum & Discord Guidelines​

The following rules and guidelines are in place to ensure that the Los Scandalous community remains professional, welcoming, organized, and enjoyable for every member. By participating within our forums, Discord server, and community platforms, you automatically agree to follow and respect all rules listed below.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, or removal from the community depending on the severity of the violation. These rules exist to maintain a mature environment focused on serious roleplay, respectful communication, and positive community interaction.

English Only​

While we proudly welcome members from many different backgrounds and countries, Los Scandalous is strictly an English-speaking community. All public communication must be written or spoken in English at all times unless otherwise permitted by staff for a specific circumstance.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Forum posts
• Discord messages
• Support tickets
• Community discussions
• Voice communication in official channels
• Public in-game communications where moderation may be required

The reason for this rule is to ensure that staff members are able to properly moderate conversations, handle reports efficiently, and maintain clear communication across the community. Using other languages in public areas may create confusion, misunderstandings, or moderation difficulties.

Minor accidental usage of another language may not immediately result in punishment; however, repeatedly ignoring this rule after being warned may lead to disciplinary action.

We ask all members to respect this policy and help maintain an inclusive environment where everyone can communicate effectively together.

No Spam / Advertising / Self Promotion​

Los Scandalous has a strict no-spam and no-advertising policy. Spam includes any unnecessary, repetitive, disruptive, or irrelevant content that negatively affects the community experience.

Examples of spam include:

• Repeated posting of the same message
• Excessive tagging or pinging
• Unnecessary replies or reactions
• Posting unrelated content in discussions
• Repeatedly asking the same question
• Flooding chats or threads with meaningless messages
• Mass direct messaging community members

Advertising or self-promotion of outside communities, businesses, products, social media pages, servers, streams, or services is strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by community management beforehand.

This includes:

• Posting invite links to other Discord servers
• Promoting other roleplay communities
• Advertising YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, or personal businesses
• Sending unsolicited promotional messages
• Attempting to recruit members away from Los Scandalous

We want all conversations and discussions to remain focused on the community itself. Members found attempting to bypass this rule through indirect advertising or hidden promotions may receive immediate punishment.

No Offensive Posts, Links, or Images​

Los Scandalous maintains a mature but respectful environment. Any content intended to harass, intimidate, discriminate against, or attack another individual or group is strictly prohibited.

The following content is not allowed under any circumstances:

• Racist or discriminatory remarks
• Hate speech
• Harassment or bullying
• Threats toward other members
• Sexually explicit or obscene material
• Graphic or disturbing content
• NSFW images, videos, or links
• Excessively violent or shocking media
• Defamatory or abusive comments

This rule applies to all forms of content, including:

• Messages
• Images
• GIFs
• Videos
• Usernames
• Profile pictures
• Banners
• Emojis and reactions
• Links to external websites

Even if content is intended as a joke, staff may still take action if it negatively impacts the community atmosphere or makes other members uncomfortable.

We encourage all members to use common sense and remember that Los Scandalous is intended to be a professional roleplay community where people should feel comfortable participating without fear of harassment or offensive behavior.

Do Not Spam Questions in Forum Threads​

Please avoid repeatedly posting the same question across multiple channels, threads, or sections of the forums and Discord. Doing so creates unnecessary clutter and makes it harder for staff members and community members to assist everyone efficiently.

Before asking a question, we encourage members to:

• Search for existing answers
• Read the provided guides and FAQs
• Check pinned messages or announcements
• Use the appropriate support sections

If your question has already been answered, avoid reposting it repeatedly in hopes of receiving a different answer.

Additionally, do not continuously message staff members privately regarding applications, reports, support requests, or server-related matters unless instructed to do so. Staff members handle many responsibilities daily, and repeatedly contacting them may slow down response times for everyone else.

Patience and professionalism are expected from all community members.

Remain Respectful Toward Other Members at All Times​

Respect is one of the most important values within Los Scandalous. Every member is expected to treat others professionally and courteously regardless of disagreements, opinions, rank, or role within the community.

Healthy discussions and disagreements are completely acceptable; however, personal attacks are not.

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Insulting or degrading other members
• Public arguments intended to create drama
• Harassment or targeted behavior
• Disrespect toward staff decisions
• Attempting to provoke others
• Toxic or disruptive conduct
• Mocking newer members or applicants

Nobody within this community is considered above the rules. Whether you are a new member, long-time player, content creator, or staff member, everyone is expected to follow the same standards of behavior.

Constructive criticism is welcome when presented respectfully and maturely. If conflicts occur, we encourage members to handle them calmly or contact staff for assistance rather than escalating situations publicly.

A respectful community creates a better experience for everyone involved.

Frequently Asked Questions​

Am I Allowed to Make Multiple Accounts?​

No. There is no legitimate reason to own or operate multiple accounts within the Los Scandalous community unless specifically approved by administration for official purposes.

Creating alternate accounts to:

• Avoid punishments
• Evade bans
• Manipulate applications
• Harass users anonymously
• Circumvent restrictions

is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent removal from all community platforms.

If you are banned from the forums, Discord, or server, do not attempt to create new accounts to bypass the punishment. Continued attempts to evade moderation may result in IP bans or additional enforcement actions.

If you believe a punishment was unfair, use the proper appeal process instead of attempting to bypass the system.

What Happens If I Break a Rule?​

Punishments are handled based on the severity, frequency, and intent behind the violation. Staff members reserve the right to issue warnings, temporary punishments, or permanent bans depending on the circumstances.

Possible punishments include:

• Verbal warnings
• Written warnings
• Temporary mutes
• Forum restrictions
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent bans
• Removal from whitelist status

Severe violations such as harassment, hate speech, ban evasion, doxxing, or malicious behavior may result in immediate permanent removal without warning.

Administrators and moderators also reserve the right to:

• Edit or remove content
• Lock or delete threads
• Move discussions to appropriate sections
• Restrict access to certain channels
• Take necessary action to protect the community

All moderation decisions are made with the goal of preserving a healthy and professional environment.

What Happens If I See a Thread or Post That Breaks a Rule?​

If you encounter content or behavior that violates community rules, please report it to the moderation team rather than engaging in arguments publicly.

You can help maintain professionalism within the community by:

• Reporting inappropriate behavior
• Avoiding public confrontations
• Providing evidence when necessary
• Remaining respectful during reports

False reports or attempts to weaponize the reporting system against other members may also result in disciplinary action.
